Better practice to protect Tarr Steps

Landowners are being asked to review the way they manage woodland along the River Barle after Tarr Steps has to be rebuilt for the second time in four years.  The wire ‘boom’ further upstream, designed to catch large debris before it reaches the ancient clapper bridge, has also been damaged.  http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-somerset-38844162
