Ball Cottage, Winsford

Brendon Hill Crafts
Small family-run business producing a wide variety of jams, marmalades, chutneys, jellies, sauces, vinegars, many of which have won awards.
A charity providing residential outdoor activities to people of all ages and with every type of disability along with their friends, family and/or carers. The charity also supports local primary schools and many special needs schools. Nearly 4,000 visitors stay at the Centre each year.
Campaign to Protect Rural England. We work locally and nationally to stand up for the countryside: to protect it from the threats it faces, and to shape its future for the better.

Exmoor Character Cottages
Four period holiday cottages – The Oval in Dunster, Pilgrim Corner, The Old Sweet Shop and Stone Barn in Minehead. Each has their own unique character and original features. Sleeping from five to eight, they are comfy and welcoming – a real home-from-home in the heart of Exmoor. Dogs welcome.
Exmoor Horn Sheep Breeders’ Society
A Society formed for the encouragement of the Breeding and Maintenance of the characteristics of the Exmoor Horn Sheep at home and abroad, and the maintenance of the breed.
Exmoor Magazine (est. 1997) is for all who love Exmoor and the Quantocks. Each issue of this independent, quarterly magazine boasts around 200 images by local photographers and a wide range of in-depth features. The publication is sold in local shops, Co-ops, Waitrose and M&S, as well as by subscription.
Exmoor Natural History Society
The Society, founded by Noel Allen in 1974, is a Reg. Charity No. 1108445. Membership is £7 p.a. and members receive the Society’s magazine, The Exmoor Naturalist , twice yearly. This includes Summer and Winter programmes of walks and talks for members, and opportunities to assist with recording and conserving Exmoor’s wonderful wildlife.
Exmoor Trees has been growing trees at one of the highest tree nurseries in the UK for 15 years, in exposed and windy conditions, producing trees that are fully ready to be planted out. Our trees are grown in peat-free compost, are generally two years old when they leave the nursery. Advice and courses also offered.

Somerset Archaeological and Natural History Society
SANHS was founded in 1849. Through its four subject committees, it actively promotes the study of Local History, Archaeology, Natural History and Historic Buildings. Apart from the Society’s Proceedings, the Publications Committee overseas the production of a number of Society publications and it runs a popular Programme of Events which include talks, walks, lectures and workshops on a range of relevant topics.
South West Lakes Trust
South West Lakes Trust is the region’s largest combined environmental and recreational charity. Its 50 inland water sites, spread across Devon, Cornwall and West Somerset, attract in the region of 2m visits annually. It is listed as being in the top 3,000 of the country’s 150,000 charities.
