Join us for an evening with award winning photographer Andrew McCarthy.
Andrew is a photographer and professional ecologist who has worked with wildlife for over 30 years. Whilst he has a varied range of photographic interests, including travel and landscape, he now focuses mainly on nature photography here in the South-West. He has won several photographic awards for his wildlife work, and regularly writes articles and gives talks on photography of the natural world to camera clubs and other organisations. He has been an official Ambassador for OM System cameras since 2018, holds a Fellowship in Natural History photography with the Royal Photographic Society (RPS) and, since 2022, has sat on their Fellowship and Associate Distinctions judging panel. His images can be seen on www.andrewmccarthyphotography.co.uk or on social media.
Andrew will be judging entries to our Alfred Vowles photography competition this year and will be handing awards to the winners during the evening. Many of the entries will be on display, and Andrew will be giving a talk aimed at amateur photographers, giving his hints and tips.
This event is FREE but donations on the evening would be appreciated.
Drinks will be available.
