Mrs Christina Williams

Vice-Chairman

Educated at the LSE with a degree in International History, Christina started her working life as an analyst in a bank – but then somehow ended up living and bringing up her surprisingly large family of children, horses, dogs, breeding guinea pigs and Indian Runner Ducks at Molland, Exmoor, which has been home for the last 28 odd years. Financial data was unexpectedly replaced by a deeper love for and work in gardening and design, and then in landscape and land management.

Her charitable involvements have varied from being a trustee of The Romanian Orphanage Trust to a governorship of West Buckland School, amongst others. She is currently a member of The Duchy of Cornwall Rural Committee responsible for tenant relationships and Future Farming ambitions. A long term trustee of The Exmoor Society, first appointed in 2004, Christina wishes to champion the beauty of the Exmoor landscape and show that farming and increasing biodiversity can and should sing from the same hymn sheet.
