Key Information:
Join walk leaders Jill and Oliver Edwards for a walk along the Exe Valley beside the river Exe climbing to a view point with views of moorland and Exe Cleeve.
Jill runs their farm with her husband, Oliver, and younger son David. They also run a tourism business camping and self catering cottages. The farm as been in the family since 1938.
Approximately one and a half to two hours, taking in pasture, rough ground, woodland, river Exe, cattle and sheep shed. All stock will be outside to see.
Walk to the top of the farm including an ancient standing stone. Walking back to farm house takes in silage fields or ewes with lambs, cows with calves depending on the time of the year, plus the top sheds for housing cattle. Finish at the sheep shed and our holiday cottages.
