Take action to protect and conserve the Exmoor National Park:
Upcoming Exmoor Walk:

Porlock Weir and Ada Lovelace’s Woodlands followed by their annual open-air service on the Harbourside (optional)

Key Information:
Join Walk Leaders Gill and Alistair for a guided walk around Porlock Weir and Ada Lovelace’s woodlands followed by the annual open-air service on the Harbourside (optional).

Gill and Alistair live in Porlock and are both volunteers for the National Trust and the National Park. They are also part of the team that established the Porlock Pilgrim’s Trail, a trail that links all nine churches and chapels in the benefice, including Porlock Weir.

Starting at Porlock Weir car park, we will make a short tour of the harbour area before heading west on the new Coast Path route to Ada Lovelace’s woodland gardens where restoration has just been started.

Returning through the hamlet of Worthy, we will visit Porlock Weir’s tin tabernacle church, St Nicholas’, before returning to the harbourside for the annual open-air service on the Harbourside.

The Harbourside service starts at 6pm.

There should be time to get a snack or a drink between the walk and the service if you wish. There are cafes in Porlock Weir.
