Join Walk Leader Steve Key for a guided walk around Simonsbath and the Barle Valley.
Steve is a retired Accountant who now spends time on his hobbies including, Astronomy, Exmoor, Geology, Golf, History, Photography & World Affairs. This is his 49th year walking Exmoor. He has several voluntary roles working for ENPA and South West Peatland Partnership.
After looking around Ashcombe’s Picturesque Gardens, we walk along the Barle Valley to the site of Wheal Eliza Mine and then continue to the Iron Age Hill Fort of Cow Castle. After a lunch break there we retrace our steps to Simonsbath.
