Thomas will dive into the fascinating world of Exmoor’s historic and listed buildings, exploring the unique challenges of improving their energy efficiency while preserving their historic charm. From solar panels and double glazing to external wall insulation, he’ll cover practical solutions and the potential risks—such as the loss of character, mould, and condensation—that come with them.

With over seven years’ experience working for the National Park and an MSc in Historic Building Conservation, Thomas brings expert insights into how we can balance sustainability with heritage.

Doors open at 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start. Your ticket includes a drink, and the event will take place at Dulverton Town Hall.
