Our community supporters help us in our work to promote and protect the unique qualities of Exmoor. Many of them operate within Exmoor National Park and contribute in helping the area thrive both economically and socially. Exmoor Natural History Society
The aim of the society is to promote and advance the education of the public in natural history and its conservation and to record the flora and fauna of Exmoor and the Minehead area. Membership is £7 per year. Members receive the society’s magazine, the Exmoor Naturalist, twice yearly. It also includes summer and winter walks and talks and the opportunity to assist with the recording and conversing Exmoor’s wonderful wildlife.

With over 27 years experience in producing the finest quality traditional willow baskets and hurdles. Exmoor Baskets and Hurdles produces a full range of traditional Somerset willow baskets. Our baskets are strong and fuctional. Our normal selection includes shopping baskets, flower baskets, log baskets, picnic items, a brolly basket and a wheeled shopper. Standard baskets normally in stock for immediate delivery or collection.
My willow hurdles are hand made using strong weavers and uprights. All our hurdles and trellises can be made to the size you require.

The Moorland Mousie Trust
The Moorland Mousie Trust exists to promote and protect all aspects of registered Exmoor ponies, on Exmoor, throughout the UK and abroad. We want to ensure the continued survival of free-living Exmoor pony herds on Exmoor, nationally and internationally.
It is our belief that through engagement and education we can offer improved lives for all Exmoor ponies.
PFG Fabrication

Somerset Archaeological and Natural History Society
Founded in 1849, it actively promotes the study of Local History, Archaeology, Natural History and Historic Buildings. SANHS runs a Programme of Events which includes talks, walks, lectures, and webinars. SANHS runs a programme of events which includes talks, walks, lectures and webinars.
Nettlecombe Court Field Study Centre
Field Studies Council Nettlecombe Court lies in a secluded valley at the eastern edge of Exmoor National Park. The house is a striking example of a Tudor and Georgian country mansion set within its own grounds. The grounds are made up of heritage parkland, ancient woodland containing many veteran oak trees as well as a Site of Special Scientific Interest because of its lichen communities. Nettlecombe Court has excellent access to the Somerset coast as well as Exmoor National Park and The Quantocks Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
A May’s Farm
A May’s Farm officially came into being in late 2021 when we bought our own farm, but really it has been developing for as long as we have been on Exmoor together. We are Alex and Anne May and we’re proud to share our little part of Exmoor and what we grow on it with you. We farm beef cattle, sheep and native breed pigs on rotational grazing systems. Homegrown marbled and tender beef, grass fed lamb and native breed pork
We farm Slattenslade Farm in Woody Bay with Alex’s father and we own Silkenworthy Farm near Blackmoor Gate, a very exciting purchase for us in 2021. Alex also manages two farms, Aclands and Chapman Barrows, for a family firm.
Exmoor Hill Farming Network CIC
The Exmoor Hill Farming Network was established in 2014, as a successor to the Exmoor Hill Farming Project (2009-2013), to improve the viability and sustainability of Exmoor farming businesses through knowledge-transfer, peer-group support, training, and co-operation to safeguard upland farming, rural employment and landscape management. Following a review of governance in 2019, the Network Steering Group established the Exmoor Hill Farming Network Community Interest Company (Company No. 12151981) which took over the running of the Network from North Devon + in February 2020.
Our Vision for the Network is to provide the Go-to-Hub for Exmoor’s farming community, providing information, skills, support and inspiration. We will be:
Economically Engaged: assisting prosperous and forward-thinking businesses;
Healthy and Harmonious: facilitating a proper sense of well-being and succession in the Exmoor Farming Community;
Farming Friendly: giving a voice for the Farming Community within landscape and countryside policy-making; and
Nature Nurturing: promoting sustainably managed, attractive and nature-rich farmed landscapes Change.
Exmoor Ales
Founded in 1979 on the edge of Exmoor in Wiveliscombe, Exmoor Ales was one of the pioneer ‘Micro Breweries’ to stand against the onslaught of keg ale flooding the market from the big brewers. Concentrating on crafting ales of character and flavour, we gained a following, helping lead to the cask ale revival of the early eighties.

Exmoor Magazine
Exmoor Magazine (est. 1997) is for all who love Exmoor and the Quantocks. Each issue of this independent, quarterly magazine boasts around 200 images by local photographers and a wide range of in-depth features. The publication is sold in local shops, Co-ops, Waitrose and M&S, as well as by subscription.
Wellhayes Vineyard

Rupert White Interiors was started when Rupert moved back to Devon from London in 2010. Rupert now works from his home office in Bampton and can help you with any aspect of interior design.
