Join walk leader Steve Key for a stroll around Ashcombe Gardens, planned by John Knight in the 1820’s but uncompleted, before walking along the Barle Valley past the site of Wheal Eliza Mine and on to Iron Age Cow Castle.
Along the way you learn the history of Exmoor Forest and about Ferns, Lichens and Mosses seen in this beautiful part of Exmoor.
