Guided walk - Lyn Down and Cheriton

Myrtleberry Cleave
ENPA

This circular walk starts at the lovely Combe Park car park at Hillsford Bridge. It climbs steadily to reach Myrtleberry Cleave with fantastic views across the East Lyn valley. We then cut inland to cross Lyn Down with wide Exmoor views and drop into the Hoar Oak Water valley with a small ford crossing to reach Cheriton. If there has been a lot of rain, then the walk will be shortened to avoid the ford. We then return down to the Hoar Oak Water to follow it back to the start. Bring a packed lunch.

Dogs on leads.

5 miles. Please bring appropriate clothing and waterproof footwear suitable for uneven ground and unreliable weather.
