Pamphlets

Our archive has an extensive collection of pamphlets produced by organisations and individuals spanning the last 60 years, all with a connection to Exmoor.

Before the advent of the internet, such pamphlets were an important means of communicating specialist knowledge on a subject. Often overlooked by public libraries, these pamphlets are an important record of the research conducted by the post-second world war generation.

In total, we have 860 pamphlets which we have categorised into 14 topics below. You are most welcome to view these pamphlets by making an appointment with our archive team. Simply email info@exmoorsociety.com with your request.
