Upcoming Exmoor Event:

An Evening with Merlin Hanbury-Tenison

Event Information:

We’re delighted to welcome Merlin Hanbury-Tenison to join us for a very special talk to explore Britain’s Atlantic temperate rainforests and the work of The Thousand Year Trust.

Merlin is a Cornish conservationist and veteran who founded The Thousand Year Trust, Britain’s rainforest charity whose mission is to catalyse the movement to triple Britain’s rainforest cover to one million acres in the next thirty years. Merlin’s work has been featured in National Geographic, The Guardian and on the BBC. He is also the author of “Our Oaken Bones: Reviving a Family, a Farm and Britain’s Ancient Rainforests”. This wonderful book is a must-read for those passionate about conserving the UK’s temperate rainforests – one of the world’s most endangered habitats.

Join us for this talk at Dulverton Town Hall on Tuesday 21st April. Doors will open at 6.00 pm for a 6.30 pm start.

Seven Fables will also be attending with a bookshop, selling copies of ‘Our Oaken Bones’ in the foyer.

This is definitely an event not to be missed!
