Take action to protect and conserve the Exmoor National Park:

ES response to the Protected Areas Inquiry

The Exmoor Society takes a keen interest in changes to UK agricultural and environment policy, particularly to their implications for the wellbeing of Exmoor’s farmers. In April 2023 we were asked to submit written evidence to the House of Lords Environment and Climate Change Committee which is currently engaged in a Protected Areas Inquiry.

It gave us an opportunity to comment on three related policy statements: the Government’s response to nature-related aspects of the Landscapes Review (2019, the 25 Year Environment Plan (2018), and its successor, the Environmental Improvement Plan (2023).
