Take action to protect and conserve the Exmoor National Park:

Exmoor Meadows Day

Join us for Exmoor's first Meadows Day on Saturday 1st July at White Rocks Cottage, Simonsbath, TA24 7JT.

Find out how to create, restore and manage species rich hay meadows and see the amazing birds, bees and other animals that make them their homes. The Exmoor Society has organised this Meadows Day in partnership with Sowing the Seed, Exmoor National Park Authority and FWAG South West.

There will be a morning or an afternoon session – each with a half-hour talk by FWAG’s Olly Edmonds followed by guided walks led by farming experts and ecologists up to the remarkable meadows of Exmoor Forest Estate. The first session starts at 11am and the second at 2pm.

It will be a wonderful day out for families, farmers, gardeners –  anyone with an enthusiasm for the natural world and how to care for it. The event is free although donations are always welcome. For more information please contact us at info@exmoorsociety.com.
