Take action to protect and conserve the Exmoor National Park:

New Category in our Photography Competition

We’re delighted to announce a new category in our Alfred Vowles Photography Competition — Waters of Exmoor!

This new category supports our 2025 Waters of Exmoor campaign, which has shaped much of our work this year, including our campaign to control the use of toxic spot-on flea and tick treatments, which are currently polluting our rivers.

So whether it’s the glittering calm waters of the River Barle or crashing waves at Lee Bay, we can’t wait to see how you capture the beauty of Exmoor’s waters through your lens.

This new waters category joins our existing three categories:
  • Landscape
  • People
  • Wildlife
There will be one overall winner who will receive £250, as well as winners and runners-up within each of the above categories. The closing date is 30th September 2025, so plenty of time to enjoy the summer and find that perfect shot!
