Take action to protect and conserve the Exmoor National Park:

The Exmoor Scavenge

Come and join us at Selworthy Beacon on Sunday 23rd July and explore Exmoor’s Mighty Moorland. This is the Exmoor Society's first ever Scavenge for young naturalists: a chance to get your boots on and discover Exmoor's amazing wildlife with our equally amazing trustee guide, Darren Sherwood.

Aimed at children of all ages (and their parents), all you need is a bit of curiosity and a thirst for adventure. There will be maps, guides, and some citizen science. A  ramble on the moor, the ‘Scavenge Challenge’, and Exmoor’s Big 5 to spot along the way.

Full details are on our website but do ring the Exmoor Society if you want more information. Book if you can as it helps to have numbers, but turn up on the day if you can’t.

Dress for the weather and bring a drink and picnic.

Get there for 10am for the briefing and the event ends at 2pm.

Both parking and the meeting point is the Selworthy Beacon view point car park or what3words location ///supposing.toddler.fabricate
