Exmoor Mines, Simonsbath (car required)

Join Walk Leader Phil Gannon to explore our interesting Exmoor mines.

For thirty-two years, Phil worked as a chartered building surveyor in West Somerset until retiring. He has assisted the ENPA with conservation and project work and was formerly a member of the Exmoor Mines Research Group.

Meet at Ashcombe Car Park and then walk from Barle Valley to Wheal Eliza. Explore Wheal Eliza and the Cornham Ford workings. Then we will drive to Blue Gate, walk to Roman Lode Burcombe, Cornham Ford and then return to Blue Gate.
