Join our expert walk leader Steve Key for a captivating night walk to the remote ruins of Larkbarrow Farm and Cottage, built in 1840 as part of the Knight family’s reclamation of Exmoor Forest.
Steve is a retired Accountant who now spends time on his hobbies including, Astronomy, Exmoor, Geology, Golf, History, Photography & World Affairs. This is his 49th year walking Exmoor. He have several voluntary roles working for ENPA and South West Peatland Partnership.
As you wander through the peaceful, darkened landscape, Steve will share fascinating insights into the history of the site. If the sky is clear, you’ll have the chance to explore the night sky and spot constellations visible to the naked eye. And if the weather doesn’t cooperate, you’ll still experience the serenity and beauty of Exmoor at night, surrounded by the stillness and isolation of this ancient landscape.
This is a unique opportunity to connect with nature in a whole new way.
