Meet the team: Lisa Eden

Lisa Eden is the trustee responsible for the archive and a Deputy Chair of the Society.
Lisa Eden is the trustee responsible for the archive and Deputy Chair of the Society. She was born in Worcestershire, but her family had a lifelong love of Exmoor, and she moved here in 2012 after a career in the NHS to enjoy walking the moors and woodlands with Digger the Patterdale Terrier.

An interest in history and landscape drew her to The Exmoor Society, where she and her partner, Graeme, became volunteers, working on cleaning and cataloguing the Hope Bourne collection. She then became the trustee lead for the archive, working alongside an enthusiastic team of volunteers.

Lisa works closely with other heritage groups and organisations across Exmoor, giving talks, leading guided walks and writing for the Exmoor Magazine. She is part of a group in her village who look after their community orchards, and who lead the orchard wassails across the northern coast of the moor.
